U.S. Navy to commission final Freedom-variant LCS in Cleveland

The U.S. Navy will commission a warship in Ohio for the first time in the nation’s 250-year history. USS Cleveland, designated LCS 31, is scheduled to formally enter active service on May 16 during a ceremony at North Coast Yard in Cleveland, the city for which the vessel is named.
