U.S. Army buys more Israeli SMASH counter-drone rifle system

Israeli company Smart Shooter has won a $10.7 million contract from the U.S. Army for additional units of its SMASH 2000LE fire control system. The AI-powered rifle-mounted system is scheduled for delivery in the third quarter of 2026. PAE Defensive Fires issued the award, with Atlantic Diving Supply, Inc. serving as the executing contractor.
