TCLBANKER Banking Trojan Targets Financial Platforms via WhatsApp and Outlook Worms

Security researchers have identified TCLBANKER, a previously unknown Brazilian banking trojan capable of attacking 59 banking, fintech, and cryptocurrency platforms. Elastic Security Labs is tracking the malware under the designation REF3076. The trojan is believed to represent a significant evolution of the Maverick malware family, which has previously used a worm called SORVEPOTEL for distribution.
