EAC warns outages possible despite safeguards

The Electricity Authority said on Thursday that while it cannot entirely rule out the possibility of power outages, it has taken all necessary steps to prevent them. Giorgos Petrou, chairman of the EAC board, made the remarks to the media following a meeting with the leader of the Disy party.
